Mirabo Collaborates with the School of Mechanical Engineering – Hanoi University of Science and Technology to Showcase Rehabilitation Robot at SusHi Tech Tokyo 2025
– A Collaboration Between Business, Scientific Research, and Opportunities for International Cooperation –
From May 8 to 10, SusHi Tech Tokyo 2025, Asia’s leading technology event, took place at Tokyo Big Sight with the participation of hundreds of companies from around the world. VADX Japan represented Vietnam at the Vietnam City Booth, bringing forward innovative Vietnamese solutions.
SusHi Tech, short for Sustainable High City Tech, is an initiative by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government aimed at developing sustainable and innovative megacities through the application of advanced technologies such as AI, robotics, IoT, and more. As the largest event of its kind in Asia, it brings together breakthrough technological solutions that shape the future of urban living.
At this year’s event, Mirabo showcased its intelligent rehabilitation robot – the result of a collaboration between the Smart Mechanical Lab of the School of Mechanical Engineering at Hanoi University of Science and Technology and a team of engineers from Mirabo. This exceptional product is not only a technological solution supporting patient mobility recovery, but also a tangible outcome of practical research conducted by university students and faculty, under the guidance and support of an innovative tech enterprise.
Notably, the robot was awarded First Prize at the 7th National “Students with Startup Ideas” Competition, and is currently receiving strong interest from hospitals, medical device companies, and investors in Japan.
Presenting this product at SusHi Tech Tokyo 2025 is not only an opportunity to highlight the innovative capabilities of Vietnamese talent in health technology but also serves as a gateway to explore collaboration with the Japanese market — a market with increasing demand for effective, affordable, and personalized rehabilitation solutions.
Mirabo believes that this rehabilitation robot – a convergence of science, education, and technology – represents a strong symbol of Vietnam’s growing wave of innovation on the global stage.
